Choosing a podcast production agency gets easier when you are clear about what the podcast needs to achieve.
You might want your founder to build relationships with prospective customers. You might need a distinctive show that helps your business become known for a particular subject. Or your marketing team might need someone to manage recording and turn each episode into content they can use throughout the month.
Those are different briefs. The agencies below offer different ways of approaching them.
This guide is published by Echo Eight, and we have included ourselves first. We have also included competitors whose services may suit different projects. The list is a shortlist to investigate, rather than a claim that one agency is best for every business.

How we selected these agencies
We reviewed official service pages and published work for providers with relevant business podcast experience or explicit B2B positioning. The shortlist includes UK providers and international teams serving UK businesses; it is not restricted to UK-headquartered companies.
We looked at strategy, recording, guest support, publishing, repurposing and promotion. Inclusion does not mean every service comes with every engagement. We have not commissioned a project from each provider, and the descriptions below are assessments of their public information.
1. Echo Eight
Best suited to: B2B companies using podcasting to build target-account relationships and create useful marketing content.
At Echo Eight, we start with the people your business wants to reach. That informs the guest list, the subject of the show and the reason someone would want to take part.
We manage podcast strategy, guest outreach, recording, production, publishing and repurposing. Your founder or subject-matter expert usually hosts, because the relationship they build with the guest is part of the value. Most programmes can be recorded remotely.
The content then has a role beyond the podcast feed: clips for LinkedIn, written content, email material and assets that support sales conversations. We also help plan what happens to the guest relationship afterwards.
For Alchemy Branding Studio, the Brand to Scale programme created 15 target-fit conversations and 100,000 impressions. For Modularis, Value Creation Mindset created 12 senior target-market conversations. These are campaign-specific results; they should not be read as numbers of closed deals.
Our approach suits businesses that value access to relevant people alongside public reach. The client still needs a willing host and time to contribute to the conversations.
We also offer a separate Podcast Guest Booking service, securing appearances for clients on other relevant shows. That provides another route to authority and audience exposure for businesses that do not want to run their own podcast.

2. B2B Better
Worth considering for: Thought leadership programmes connected to business development.
B2B Better explicitly works with B2B service and technology companies. Its published approach connects guest research and outreach with production, distribution and assets that sales teams can use, including clips and outreach sequences.
That makes it relevant if your brief extends beyond releasing episodes and into how marketing supports sales activity.
When evaluating the service, ask how the programme would fit your existing sales process. Who follows up with guests, how are relationships recorded, and what counts as a meaningful commercial outcome? Those details matter more than a general promise to influence pipeline.
3. Fame
Worth considering for: A managed B2B programme combining guest sourcing, production and promotion.
Fame’s published service includes guest sourcing, booking and preparation, audio and long-form video, short clips, transcripts and written assets. It also promotes its own software platform for managing the programme and reporting.
This is an option for teams that want an ongoing production process with guest support built into it.
Check the practical deliverables carefully. Social-ready assets and a fully managed LinkedIn presence are different services. Ask what is included, what your team needs to publish, and how the reporting distinguishes audience activity from relationships and opportunities.
4. Lower Street
Worth considering for: A distinctive branded show supported by audience research and editorial development.
Lower Street describes a research-led approach covering strategy, production and growth. Its published work includes branded shows for business audiences, and its services extend to guest outreach, preparation, promotion and video.
It is worth investigating if you want editorial input into what the show should be, rather than arriving with a fixed interview format.
Ask to hear complete episodes from comparable projects. The quality of the storytelling, pacing and host support will tell you more about fit than a short showreel. Also clarify how audience development and guest relationships would each be measured.
5. Earworm
Worth considering for: B2B video podcast production with distribution and reporting.
Earworm is based in Bristol and works with clients in the UK and US. Its B2B offering brings together strategy, studio video recording, editing, multi-platform publishing and analytics.
Its published work includes Soldo’s The CFO Playbook, giving buyers a relevant business show to explore.
For a video-led project, ask how recording would work for your host and guests, particularly if they are spread across different locations. Clarify how guest sourcing, recording logistics and ongoing distribution fit the proposed engagement. A good production setup still needs to work for the people taking part.
6. LRB Media
Worth considering for: Recording at your premises and producing several video assets from each episode.
LRB Media’s B2B service emphasises bringing the production team to the client. Its published deliverables include full episodes, LinkedIn shorts, vertical clips, longer YouTube segments and distribution support.
This is worth considering if your team prefers scheduled filming days and wants material for several channels.
One useful distinction: its service page says the client’s focus is choosing guests. If you need someone to identify prospects and conduct outreach, establish whether that is available. Production support and guest acquisition are separate responsibilities, even when both contribute to the same show.
7. ThePod.fm
Worth considering for: Podcast-led outreach to prospective customers.
ThePod.fm describes an international delivery team spanning the UK and US. Its services combine target-account guest sourcing with recording, editing, distribution and repurposing.
Its positioning is particularly relevant to businesses using a podcast to begin conversations with potential buyers.
If you investigate its booked-introduction-call commitments, ask what qualifies as a call, how guests are approved and how expectations are explained. An introductory conversation is useful, but it is not automatically a sales opportunity. Your team also needs an appropriate way to continue the relationship once the interview is over.
8. 18Sixty
Worth considering for: Branded storytelling with editorial and production support.
18Sixty offers strategy, production, distribution, promotion and video services. Its portfolio includes The Third Angle, with support spanning production, management and amplification.
It is a useful option to investigate when your business has expertise to share but needs help turning it into a show people will choose to follow.
Ask how its editorial approach would work for your subject and audience. If target-account relationships are also important, clarify who identifies and invites guests. A compelling audience proposition and a prospect-focused guest strategy can coexist, but both need to be deliberately planned.
9. Cue Productions
Worth considering for: A podcast that sits within a wider video or events programme.
Cue Productions offers original podcasts, content production and live-event services. Its published business work includes Fresh Perspectives for Azets and on-location recordings with legal experts for Markel.
That breadth makes it worth a look if your requirements involve more than a recurring podcast recording: conference interviews, filmed content or material for several channels, for example.
Ask how the proposed project would be managed across those formats. Clarify the editorial support, guest responsibilities and publishing provision so your internal team knows which parts it still owns.
10. Fresh Air
Worth considering for: An editorially developed branded audio or video series.
Fresh Air’s published services cover concept development, scripting, content planning, guest booking, recording, sound design, editing and video. It also offers podcast marketing and growth support.
For a business tackling a complex subject, that editorial range is worth exploring. The decision may involve more than choosing equipment or an episode schedule; it may involve finding the right way to make the subject accessible.
Clarify the guest-booking brief. Finding contributors who improve a story is different from building a guest list around prospective customers. Establish which objective matters to your programme.
11. The Podcast Guys
Worth considering for: Business podcasts connected to conferences and industry events.
The Podcast Guys offers strategy, format development, recording, editing, distribution and growth support. It highlights B2B conference and event podcasting as a specialism, with published work including Wood Mackenzie’s The Energy Gang.
It is a relevant option if events are already part of your marketing plan and you want the conversations captured there to keep working afterwards.
Discuss how event recordings would connect to an ongoing show. Speaker access, recording conditions and permissions need planning, while the resulting episodes still need an editorial purpose for people who were not at the event.
12. The Podcast Company
Worth considering for: Bespoke support across audio and video production.
The Podcast Company works with businesses alongside charities and individual creators. Its published service covers pre-production, studio, location or remote recording, post-production and distribution support, with scope tailored to the project.
It is worth investigating if you already have part of the podcast process in place and need specific production help, or want a bespoke engagement.
Define the division of work clearly. Ask who owns editorial planning, guest booking, promotional content and reporting. A tailored service is most useful when both sides understand exactly where the agency’s responsibilities begin and end.
How to choose the right B2B podcast agency
Start with a sentence describing the job: “We want to build relationships with operations leaders at our target accounts,” or “We want to become a useful source of insight for finance directors.”
Then ask shortlisted agencies to explain how their approach would support it.
Establish who handles guest outreach
Some services include sourcing and booking. Others expect you to provide the guests. Ask who researches people, sends invitations, manages scheduling and prepares them for recording. If your objective is target-account access, check how guest relevance is assessed.
Understand what your team still needs to do
Outsourcing production does not remove the need for subject knowledge or decisions. Your team may still host, approve topics, review edits and publish certain assets. Ask for a typical episode workflow, including the points where work waits for your input.
Look beyond the number of clips
Ten clips are only useful if they say something your audience cares about. Request examples of finished episodes and supporting assets. Assess whether the clips stand on their own, retain the speaker’s meaning and give someone a reason to watch.
Agree what success means
Downloads help assess public reach. Guest relationships help assess access. Content use and qualified enquiries provide other signals. Choose measures that match the show’s purpose, and keep conversations, opportunities and revenue separate in the reporting.
Decide how guest relationships continue
A guest has agreed to an interview. Follow-up should respect that context. Sharing the finished assets, thanking them and continuing a relevant discussion can be useful next steps. Treat a sales conversation as something that needs mutual interest, rather than an entitlement that comes with recording an episode.
Do you need your own podcast or guest appearances?
Producing your own show gives you control over the topic, guest strategy and content. It also creates an ongoing commitment to hosting and publishing.
Appearing on other podcasts lets your founder or expert contribute to an existing show and reach its audience. The host controls the format and guest selection, so relevance matters more than simply accumulating appearances.
Some businesses will use both. If you are still working out the right route, begin with the people you want to reach and the time your team can commit.
